In 2002, La Voie Maltée opened its doors for the very first time in Jonquière, in the kingdom of beer. Alexandre sold his motorbike and joined Daniel on his mission to make craft beer accessible and to maximize the culinary approach to beer.

Today, over 20 years later, the menus at four restaurants in Saguenay and in Québec feature a wide variety of food and beer. To meet the growing demand in restaurants, Carl joined the team in 2014 and implemented a 30,000-hl microbrewery, enabling the production of canned beer throughout Quebec.

It’s a very creative playground that lets the team have fun while creating beers that reflect the staff’s colourful personalities.
